There’s a moment, maybe you’ve felt it too, when something stirs deep down inside of you. It’s more than a passing emotion. It’s a pull, a longing ache that even your bones can’t shake. You don’t know exactly what it means yet, but you can feel it… God is calling you to more.
Friend, if that’s you, I want you to know that you’re not imagining it. That quiet tug? That restless stirring? That’s the Holy Spirit inviting you to lean in, slow down, and listen.
When we feel this nudge, the very best thing we can do is turn to God in prayer. Ask Him to clarify. Ask Him to prepare your heart for whatever He’s leading you into.
If He’s placed something on yours, it’s because there is a calling that only you can carry.
And when you begin to discover that calling—when you get even a glimpse of your purpose as a servant of the Lord—it’s the most beautiful, exhilarating, and humbling experience.
But it can also feel terrifying.
You might wonder, Who am I to do this? How am I supposed to move mountains?
If God has called you, He will walk with you. He will lead the way, steady your steps, and let you lean on Him when the road gets hard—because yes, it will get hard. But hard doesn’t mean wrong. It means you’re growing. Think of the pruning of the vine reference found in the book of John.
And in those moments when you feel too small, too flawed, too ordinary—remember this: God has always used imperfect people to fulfill His perfect plans. Throughout Scripture, He chose the unlikely, the broken, the overlooked. Why? Because when God uses someone the world might not expect, His goodness gets the spotlight.
So, if you’re feeling that sacred stir in your soul, don’t run from it. Press in. Ask, seek, knock. Pray bold prayers. And then, with trembling hands and a willing heart, say yes—even if you don’t know what’s next.
With love and grace,
Kaitie
