I’ve always had a creative spirit. Ideas energize me, and dreaming up new business ventures is something that I have always thrived in doing. From launching a successful virtual assistant business to building websites (something I still love!), to founding my wedding planning business and even a wedding blog (that I’ve put a pin on for a bit) —I’ve done a lot over the past decade.
But here’s the truth: while being a serial entrepreneur, I lost sight of the most important things. I was prioritizing hustle over rest. I tied my worth to how much I could accomplish and how many affirming words I could gather along the way—because let’s be honest, words of affirmation are my love language. The more I received them, the more I craved them.
And yet, while everything looked “pretty” on the outside, my heart wasn’t rooted where it needed to be. I wasn’t in the Word like I should’ve been. I wasn’t fully present. And, to be honest, I was quickly burning out, anxious, and constantly available—but not truly available to what mattered most.
That’s why She Who Magnifies was born. Not just to help other women—but as a lifeline for me. She Who Magnifies is my journey back to scripture. Back to consistency. Back to magnifying Jesus in every part of my life—business, home, marriage, motherhood, and even the mundane.
This doesn’t feel like just another venture. It feels like a full-circle moment—a final step in the patchwork of businesses I’ve built over the last ten years. While I’ll still maintain some of them in smaller ways, they no longer get to consume me. I’m choosing to make time for the things that matter: cooking dinner for my family, enjoying slow summer days with my kids, and putting the phone down when my husband walks in the door.
And I’m not here to dismiss busy seasons. Trust me, I know what it’s like to juggle snotty noses and client emails in the same five-minute window. Some months are just plain chaotic. But I’ve learned that when the dust settles, we must return to the feet of Jesus—to His Word, His peace, and His promises.
She Who Magnifies is just that for me: a reset. A breath of fresh air. A holy pause.
And maybe, just maybe, it’s the reset you’ve been needing too.
With love and grace,
Kaitie
